Clone Voice Policy

This policy explains how Twilight Tales handles customer-created cloned voices used for story playback.

Only a parent, legal guardian, or another adult with clear permission may create a cloned voice.

• You must only upload or record your own voice, or a voice you are explicitly allowed to use.
• You must not upload a child's voice unless you have full legal authority and clear consent to do so.
• You must not use this feature to imitate, mislead, harass, or impersonate another person.

This feature is currently a trial or work-in-progress release.

In the current version, the cloned voice mapping is kept on the device and browser where you create it for that parent account. Removing browser storage, switching devices, or clearing local data may remove access to that setup.

During the beta period, each parent account may keep one cloned voice on one device.

When you create a cloned voice, the audio sample is sent to ElevenLabs so the voice can be created and used for speech playback.

Twilight Tales currently stores the returned voice identifier in your local browser for that parent account on that device. We do not promise permanent storage or cross-device syncing for this trial version.

Voice cloning and playback are powered by ElevenLabs.

By using this feature, you understand that your sample audio and related voice-generation requests are processed by that provider as part of delivering the service.

• Use cloned voices only for your family's personal, non-commercial story listening.
• Do not use the feature to create misleading, deceptive, abusive, or rights-infringing audio.
• Do not attempt to bypass platform safeguards or rate limits around voice creation.

You can remove the cloned voice from the Twilight Tales account area. In this trial version, removal is intended to delete the linked voice from ElevenLabs and clear the local browser mapping on that device, but we cannot guarantee immediate deletion from every downstream system or backup process.

Because this feature is in trial, it may change, pause, or be removed without notice while we evaluate quality, cost, and safety.
